When Marijuana was legalized at the state level for both medical and recreational use for the state of Colorado, I’m sure many of the residents said that they would see this as a benefiting their economy. The impact of marijuana tourism on the state has, in fact, been better than what was projected. With tourist coming from all over the country, it is no wonder that the newly legal shops have sold around $5 million in product the first week alone.
With the benefits of legalization blinding everyone, there was one small problem that was overlooked. There are no coffee shops in Colorado where you can buy and smoke your ganja. Sparking up, whether it is a cigarette or a joint, is not allowed in any public place inside as well as out. Most hotels in the area are completely smoke-free. A smoking room may be found in a hotel that you might highly question staying in, but there is maybe one or two in the area. At the Warwick Hotel, they have what you might call a smoking balcony…..
